BIOGRAPHY

Gilbert Koh is a lawyer and poet based in Singapore.

He is the author of a collection of poems titled Two Baby Hands (2009), and many of its pieces have been published locally in online journals such as the Quarterly Literary Review of Singapore and SOFTBLOW, internationally in Yuan YangDim Sum, Drunken BoatAtlanta ReviewSlope, and elsewhere. Some poems have been anthologised in several collections, which include No Other City (2000), Little Things: An Anthology of Poetry (2013), Gazing at Stars: Stories from Asia (2011), & Words: Poems Singapore and Beyond (2010), Love Gathers AllThe Philippines-Singapore Anthology of Love Poems (2002), and From Boys to Men: A Literary Anthology of National Service in Singapore (2002).

Koh has also collaborated with the National Arts Council on various projects, such as Project LAVA (Literary Arts–Visual Arts), which exhibits collaborations between visual artists and writers to the general public. He is also the 2005 winner of the NAC-SPH Golden Point Award for Poetry.
