Ting Kheng Siong 郑景祥 (b. 1971)


BIOGRAPHY

郑景祥(1971-),祖籍中国广东鹤山,生于新加坡。新加坡国立大学文学学士。现任《联合早报》新闻编辑副主任。曾获新加坡青年艺术家奖、世界华文报告文学奖、LycosAsia中文原创文学奖、亚细安青年微型小说奖、新加坡全国诗歌创作奖。目前为新加坡作家协会副会长,新加坡五月诗社社员。儿童诗〈奇妙的联想〉曾编入新加坡小学五年级高级华文课本。

Ting Kheng Siong was born in Singapore in 1971. His ancestral home is in Guangdong, Heshan. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from the National University of Singapore and is the current Associate Chief Sub-Editor for Lianhe Zaobao. He was previously awarded the NAC's Young Artist Award, the World Chinese Reportorial Literature Writing Competition Award, the LycosAsia Chinese Literary Writing Competition Award, the ASEAN Youth Short Story Writing Competition Award and the National Poetry Competition Award (Singapore). He is the current Vice President of the Singapore Association of Writers and a current Singapore May Poetry Society member. His children’s poem “Wondrous Associations” was previously used in the Higher Chinese textbook for Primary 5 students.
