Victoria Lim (b. 1989)
BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Lim spent her childhood in Penang, Malaysia and moved to Singapore when she was nine. She began writing poetry in 2010 and is the 2nd Prize Winner of the Golden Point Award, 2013 in English Poetry. She is also Singapore’s National Poetry Slam Champion of 2013.
Lim is a theatre practitioner and known especially for her contributions to performance poetry. She is a founding member of all-female spoken word collective, Sekaliwags, and has performed at Lit-Up! Festival (Singapore) and Cooler Lumper Festival (Malaysia).
