BIOGRAPHY

Ang Shuang is the author of How to Live With Yourself (2022), which was shortlisted for the 2024 Singapore Literature Prize in the Poetry and Best Debut categories. A Best of the Net nominee and winner of the Epiphany Magazine Breakout 8 Prize 2019, Shuang has been published in The Rumpus, Wildness, Asian American Writers’ Workshop, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, and more. She was featured in the SingPoWriMo anthologies, Twin Cities (2017), Call and Response (2018), and Perks of Being Dumped (2024).

Shuang holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she worked on her craft with some of her favourite poets, including Marie Howe, Tina Chang, and R. A. Villanueva.
