BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Arianna Pozzuoli received her degree in Stage and Screen Studies and Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. Before calling Singapore her home in 2009, she was a two-time member of the Toronto Poetry Slam team and has performed her spoken word poetry in various competitions across Canada and the USA.

Her first solo collection of poetry, Something For Everyone, was published by local publisher Red Wheelbarrow Books in 2014. She was one of the featured storytellers in “Walking in Beauty”, which premiered at the the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival in 2018. Her poetry has appeared in WordSpell, a poetry anthology showcasing Canadian female poets, and Call and Response 2, a Singaporean anthology that joins seventy writers and poets with differing relationships to the words “Singapore” and “migrant”.
