BIOGRAPHY

潘正镭(1955-),新加坡籍,祖籍中国海南省文昌县。笔名有金田雨、蓝宇穆、潘公怀。南洋大学毕业,曾任《新明日报》总编辑与《联合早报》高级执行编辑兼副刊主任。2012年荣获法国国家文学暨艺术骑士勋章(Chevalier de I’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres)。诗集《告诉阳光》获新加坡全国书籍理事会书籍奖,短篇小说《沉船记》夺得新加坡金狮奖首奖。

Pan Cheng Lui (b. 1955) is a Singaporean whose ancestral home is in Hainan, Wenchang. He has written under the pen-name “Jin Tian Yu”, “Lan Yu Mu”, and “Pan Gong Huai”. He graduated from Nanta (南大, or Nanyang University), was the editor of Shin Min Daily News, and was senior executive editor at Lianhe Zaobao. He also received the Chevalier de I’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the government of France in 2012. His poetry collection Telling the Sun won the National Book Council Prize and his short story collection Chronicles of the Sinking Boat won the top prize in the Golden Lion Award.
