Biological
to enfold in darkness
and unfold to lighthearing the silence grow
obliterating all discourses
on boredom or woeoutside the wind always blows
soft or intense
there’s still the sun’s heat
each rainy season’s cool releasepartial to what plants need bear
in toll of flowerseach month i bleed
clearing what might have been
ground for faithful planting
and fruitful bearing of seedbeyond a life spent treading water
the need to submit embrace and endurethis starting over and over
the earthbound rule to be one with nature
